He writes primarily on the Chinese economy, Chinese corporations, and the Chinese community in Japan, contributing to publications including Monthly Bungeishunjū, Weekly Toyo Keizai, Wedge, and WWD JAPAN, and also conducts research on China’s transformation into an “investor state,” the gig economy, and artificial intelligence.
