Before joining JFIR in 2021, he has served as Research Assistant at Reischauer Institute of Japanese Studies, Harvard University; Analyst (National Security) at Intelligence and Analysis Service, Ministry of Foreign Affairs; Lecturer at Command and Staff College, Japanese Maritime Self Defense Force (JMSDF); Researcher at Meiji Institute for Global Affairs (MIGA).
